We specialise in ultrasounds in pregnancy and for gynecological diagnosis.
For those mums to be who can’t wait to see their baby before the NHS 20 weeks scan.
Please call the Practice on 01 to book your appointment.
At about six weeks into pregnancy (four weeks from conception), you should be able to see your baby's heartbeat on ultrasound.
We offer Pre-Eclampsia Screening in the First Trimester.
Using the first day of your last period, and your average menstrual cycle (this is the number of days from the start of one period to the day before the next one), it's possible to estimate the date you conceived.
Pregnancy is counted as being 40 weeks long, so your due date is calculated at 280 days from conception. Early pregnancy isn't the time to be wrestling with calendars, charts and menstrual cycles - you've quite enough to make you feel queasy already.
These early ultrasounds provide comfort and reassurance to the expectant mother.
They also help with dating your pregnancy properly and getting an accurate due date.
